What Inspires You? A Passion for Photography

What inspires you? What makes you get up in the morning? What puts a pep in your step? Finding and nurturing “the thing” that moves you is key to both success and satisfaction. As one person once said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” For me, photography is “the thing” that moves me. Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a passion for photography.

Your passion gets you up in the morning. Your passion urges you to get the training you need. Your passion makes you put in the long hours required. Your passion keeps you dedicated and determined. Your passion carries you through the storms that come. And you wouldn’t trade it for anything!

A Passion for Photography

As Marc Riboud said,

Taking pictures is savouring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”

Brilliant.

That’s how I feel about photography. That captures my passion for it so well.

It’s not just a hobby for me. In fact, here’s how someone once explained it: “Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.”

For me, every session I book is an opportunity to express my passion and use it create memorable moments for someone else. To channel my expertise into capturing memories that can be treasured for a lifetime.
